A beautifully rustic Japanese Aka-Raku (Red Raku) tea bowl, with a warm terracotta-red surface and an earthy, tactile character.

The softly rounded form and subtly uneven hand-shaped walls give the bowl a quiet, intimate presence. Its richly textured surface reveals the natural character of the clay, with small firing marks and variations that make this piece feel wonderfully alive.

The unglazed foot shows the coarse, warm-toned clay beneath, while an impressed mark adds another small detail to its character.

There is one area with a slightly rough texture on the surface, consistent with the handmade nature and age of the piece. Overall, it presents beautifully and has a particularly appealing rustic quality.
